Typically systems consists of a heater core, air conditioning compressor, receiver drier, condenser, orifice tube or expansion valve, different lines and tubes, and a belt to complete the system. Inside there are different ways to blend the air with hot or cold and up or down.
Some problems with A/C and Heating System:
- A/C system does not cool vehicle to set temperature
- Fan/blower does not work when you turn the A/C or Heating system
- Fan/blower is louder than usual
- Overheating condition when the A/C or Heating system is on.
At Auto Werks of Colorado Springs our ASE certified technicians will do a complete inspection of the system to evaluate and diagnose the problem. This test includes using our Snap-on A/C Machine to inspect pressures, look for leaks and inspect for moisture in system. We also inspect hoses, belts, lines, dirt in the condenser fans. After diagnoses and evaluation, we will give you the options on repairing the vehicle’s A/C or heating systems.
Today’s systems use module to control operation of the systems and Auto Werks of Colorado Springs is able to perform repair work on these systems.
